I love making guns and robots. I can’t help myself sometimes. They had the inorganic collection around the north shore and I was constantly stopping and picking through the most unsavoury items of discarded odds and sods. Now my backyard is even more filled with junk for this movie. I should be concentrating on my next sculpture show at sculpture on the gulf or my solo painting exhibition at art by the sea in December but i often find myself making guns out of kitchen utensils and garden hose attachments. it’s amazing seeing the transformations when you simply add a bit of silver paint to the whole thing.
